XIX Meeting of the Ibero-American Network

The agenda included numerous common work themes such as the proposal of an Ibero-American Diploma in Service-Learning in alliance with the OEI; the continuity of the Ibero-American Journal of Service-Learning and the promotion of national networks to strengthen promotion in different countries.
In addition to discussing future projects, updates were presented on the situation of Service-Learning in the United States (Amy Meuers CEO of NYLC), in Spain (Roser Batlle for the Spanish Service-Learning network), in Chile (Karen Cravero for REASE) and the state of progress in creating new networks in Uruguay, Brazil and Peru.
In a fraternal and festive atmosphere, the participants renewed their commitment to Service-Learning, its promotion and expansion.
Welcome cocktail
With the presence of around 80 visitors, on Tuesday, August 22nd, a welcome to foreign participants was also held in the presence of the Secretary of Educational Management, Max Gulmanelli. We are grateful for the collaboration of the Ministry of Education of the Nation, which facilitated the use of the Salon Leopoldo Marechal of the Sarmiento Palace to make the Network Meeting and toast.
