Onsite Training in Slovakia

 

In the second training at Matej Bel universities in Banská Bystrica and at the Catholic University of Ružomberok, Ružomberok participants worked on the programs and projects that both have been carrying out since the beginning of CLAYSS accompaniment. Dr. María Alejandra Herrero and Jorge Sosa Rolón were there, who deepened on the reflections about different aspects and the influence of service-learning projects in the context of both institutions.
There was also an open conference attended by 80 people, with a large student presence, in which CLAYSS presented the new challenges of service-learning, novelties and activities that have been taking place in the region

The second working day at the University of Matej Bel was held together with students and teachers with training and experience in service-learning as well as the three days in Ružomberok, where the CLAYSS team offered tools for the development of service-learning projects and deepened aspects of diagnosis, reflection, systematization and evaluation of projects and their institutionalization.
On both occasions, the impact of the projects undertaken during the support program was evaluated and the activities were attended by many students, who were very enthusiastic about the activities they are developing in their institutions.
