Delivery of the Spanish Service Learning Awards

On Friday, December 14, the 2018 Spanish Service Learning Awards, organized by the State Service Learning Network, Edebé and Educo, were presented in Coslada. In a moving ceremony presided over by the Secretary of State for Education and Vocational Training, Alejandro Tiana, the mayor of Coslada, Ángel Viveros, and the president of the School Council of the Community of Madrid, Rafael Carbonell, along with other authorities and social leaders, 24 service-learning experiences were recognized, some carried out by more than one educational center. In this site you can see the summary videos of all of them: https://aprendizajeservicio.net/premios-aps-2018/

The 302 experiences presented for the 2018 Prize represented an increase of 24% over last year's edition. Another fact to bear in mind and underline is that the number of participating students practically doubles, going from 22,735 in 2017 to 44,154 this year. The distribution by level is quite similar to that of previous editions, with 49% of the projects coming from Secondary, 27% from Primary and 24% from Vocational Training. https://aprendizajeservicio.com
