Balance of Training for Prison Operators organized between INR - CEFOPEN and CLAYSS Uruguay Headquarters

 

Within the framework of the Training for Prison Operators organized by INR - CEFOPEN and CLAYSS Uruguay Headquarters, more than 40 Service-Learning projects in confinement contexts were presented.

During the presentations of the final projects, national authorities, academic teams, tutors, addresses and teams from each prison unit were present and unanimously supported the projects that the student teams presented.

Some of the lines proposed in the more than 40 projects that have been presented were: initiatives with recycling strategies, production of games and toys for children in partnership with institutions in the area, reconditioning of spaces inside and outside the confinement units, cultural proposals and initiatives to transform neighbourhood environments.
