REDIBAS Meeting

August 24th a new meeting of the Iberoamerican Service-learning Network in the City of Buenos Aires took place. It was developed to work and share joint projects and exchange views on activities, trajectories and remaining challenges. This year more than 50 representatives of member institutions from more than 10 countries of the region participated of the meeting that took place in the Leopoldo Marechal Hall, Ministry of Education and Sports of the Argentina.
The agenda included many topics of shared work as the alliance with IARSLCE (International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement) organization dedicated to promoting research on service-learning and the proposal presentation for a "Webinar" in Spanish for this year, the proposal of a platform for promoting the AS and proposal presentation for the XX Conference and Fourth Researchers Symposium in service-learning in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the International service-learning Week in 2017.
In addition to discussing future projects, there were updates on the Chilean Learning Service Network, REDAPS Spain, the expansion of service-learning in Cuba, the UNIVES State University Network for Student Volunteering in Costa Rica and CLAYSS Uruguay Headquarters.
In a fraternal and festive atmosphere, participants renewed their commitment to the promotion and expansion of service-learning.

August 24 th with around 100 the toast to welcome foreign participants took place. The event was also attended by the Secretary of Education Management, Max Gulmanelli. We appreciate the cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Argentina, which gave us the Leopoldo Marechal Hall in the Sarmiento Palace for the meeting of the Network and the toast
