Manufacturing wind turbines for rural families
In the provinces of southern Argentina, many rural households do not have electricity. Technical and agricultural schools of Chubut, Neuquén, Río Negro, among others, have developed different educational experiences to help solve this problem. All these educational projects have a common feature: wind energy. Since 2014, 6th year students from the Agrotécnico Educational Center in Cholila Valley have been manufacturing wind turbines that they later install in rural homes that do not have electricity.
